Ihre Aufgaben

The Senior Lead, Digital Transformation Program Office, will drive the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of digital transformation initiatives across the DERTOUR Group. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that digital projects align with the company's overarching goals by collaborating with a range of business units in multiple regions, and responsible for overseeing the Sunrise program and its respective activities supporting all divisions of DERTOUR Group.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the digital transformation strategy in collaboration with the CDIO and other senior leaders.
  • Identify key digital initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives while increasing synergy across the Group IT landscape.
  • Create detailed roadmaps for execution, support alignment and planning of scope for next phase (e.g. 3 or 6 months) together with individual project leads/ responsible owners.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital transformation projects, helping ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the digital transformation office and other departments, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Responsible for presentation of status report to key stakeholders with deep dives on individual initiatives or activities.

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Provide regular status reports and insights to the CDIO and other senior leaders, highlighting achievements, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure transparent progress monitoring and fast escalation with a clear set of escalation rules.

Ihr Profil

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and seasoned professional who can drive digital innovation and transformation to help the organization achieve its long-term goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience (3+ years) in digital transformation, program management, or a related area, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of digital technologies and their role in driving business transformation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and organizational levels, from top management to operational staff.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on delivering measurable results.
  • Conceptual thinking and structuring skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Personal Attributes:

  • High bias for action and pragmatic solutions plus experience in moving organizations to action in a pro-active and hands-on way
  • The core belief that cross-functional teams are stronger than silo-thinking

Additional Skills:

  • Good knowledge in the field of tourism and of tourism processes is a definite advantage.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles is desirable.
  • Experience in change management and driving organizational change initiatives is advantageous.
  • A track record of successfully managing multiple IT related projects and teams (in a complex and dynamic environment) and agile working methods are a plus.
